How to get here

Walk or go by bicycle
Its not very long from city and the walk is quite scenic.

Tram
Tram No 7 departs from the city centre and stops right outside the main entrance.

Ferry
Djurgårdsfärjan departs from Slussen, the Old Town, all year round.

Car
We do not recommend you to take the car since there are very few parking spaces at Djurgården. Summertime the road is not always open for traffic others than buses and taxi.

Tickets
Tickets can be bought both at any entrance and online at skansenbiljett.se

Opening hours
Skansen are open every day all year round.

Washrooms and Baby changing
There are several washrooms in the area, all of them has changing tables.

Picnic
You are welcome to bring your own food and eat it at one of our picnic areas or bring a blanket and find a nice spot yourself. Please do not picnic around our historical houses or at the church yard. You are not allowed to bring your own barbecue but at low season there are fires lit for barbecueing.

Stroller renting
There are buggies for rent at our entrances.

Guided tours
In all open houses and farmsteads, our staff will tell you all about the house and the time it is from.

Dogs
The only dogs allowed are assistance dogs. Dogs assisting disabled guests should be properly vaccinated and wearing a vest.

Lost and found
Lost belongings are collected at the main entrance. If you are missing something, please email to hittegods@skansen.se or call +468-442 82 09 between 1-2 pm daily
