New Year's Eve

Welcome the new year with a stunning view over Stockholm as your back drop. Our New Year's celebration dates back to the 1890s and is experienced by the Solliden stage and via live broadcast on Swedish television, SVT.

  • The evening offers entertainment with live music that exudes both celebration and nostalgia! Between approximately 11:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the celebration from the Solliden stage will be broadcast live by SVT.

  • You can already pre-purchase your entrance ticket to enter the park faster – choose between a combination ticket for daytime from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM + from 8:00 PM, or an evening ticket valid from 8:00 PM.

  • Bag ban

Please note that there is a total bag ban at Skansen’s stage events, and all audience members will be searched upon entry to the Sollidenplanen. The bag ban applies to all types of bags, regardless of size, including both transparent and non-transparent bags. Exceptions are made for individuals who, for medical reasons, need to bring a bag into the area.
