The Children's zoo
The Children’s Zoo (Lill-Skansen) has long been a favourite among children. Here, young visitors can explore animals and nature all year round – play, learn, and meet both domestic and wild small animals. At the Cats’ Pacifier Machine, they can hand in their pacifier and receive a special diploma.

Meet the animals at Lill-Skansen
At Lill-Skansen you’ll find our smallest animals — rabbits, guinea pigs and mice, but also snakes, birds and stick insects! In summer, we open the paddock where you can get close to the sheep and even give them a gentle pat.

Learn more about the animals at Lill-Skansen. Each day, our keepers select one animal to present. You might even discover something new that you didn’t know before.

Play areas and theatre
Outdoors, you’ll find play areas like Rabbit Hill and the Snake Slide, and indoors children can crawl and explore in the play tunnels. In summer, the whole family can enjoy Lill-Skansen’s popular theatre performances.
