Let's dance with Dansmuseet: Hela världen dansar/Children's dance

Let your body move to the music when Dansmuseet, the Museum of Dance, visits Skansen! Come to the Bollnäs Square dance floor to learn more about and try different dances with dance teacher Klara Berggren.

  • Between May and September 2025, Dansmuseet will be coming to Skansen, inviting you to try out different dance styles under the guidance of experienced teachers. Each occasion offers dance opportunities for the youngest members of the family as well as for adults who would like to dance.

    Each session takes place on the Bollnäs Square dance floor and lasts about 30 minutes. No prior experience is needed – just curiosity and a love of dancing!

  • Toddler dance (from 2 years), 12.00

    Dance for the little ones where they get to try simple movements with lots of dancing joy and imagination. Of course we end with DISCO!

  • Children's dance (from 4 years), 13.00

    We do a pirouette like in ballet and try out rhythmic dance steps to hip-hop music, then we travel to West Africa and dance with imaginative and fun movements to drum rhythms. Lots of dancing fun is promised!

  • Hela världen dansar – dans för alla, 15.00

    Try ballet, hip hop and West African dance. A fun try-out class that's suitable for the whole family! Featuring: Klara Berggren.

  • About Dansmuseet

    Dansmuseet is a world-class museum for dance and movement, founded in Stockholm by Rolf de Maré in 1953. The museum’s activities include exhibitions, performances, music experiences and workshops.

    In January 2025, Dansmuseet closed due to financial difficulties. The museum is currently working to open in a new location in 2027/2028. In the meantime, Dansmuseet offers dance experiences in other ways – in 2025 Skansen is among them.
