A morning with the animals

Experience a unique morning with the animals before the park opens to other visitors. Help with the animals’ morning routines, and get an insight into how Skansen works with animal welfare and conservation.

  • Come to Skansen before we open the doors to other visitors, and join us for a fascinating up-close visit with our animals! Together with one of our zookeepers, you can take part in the animals’ morning routines and get a closer insight into how Skansen works with animal welfare and conservation.

    The keeper will feed one of the following animals during your experience: seal, great grey owl, otter, wolverine or bear. As the animals live the same way they do in the wild with irregular feeding routines, we cannot guarantee a specific animal.

    When: All year round, during daylight hours. Bookable 08:30–10:00.
