Concert with Sousou & Maher Cissoko Band

A folk mix where West African and Swedish folk music traditions are combined with reggae, soul and jazz.

  • Sousou & Maher Cissoko have toured the world with their music, which is as transboundary as the life they live together; constantly on the move across several continents and with musical and human encounters as the main driving forces.

    Their music combines reggae, folk, soul and jazz. The duo is a unique fusion of musical skill, warmth and charisma and speaks to people regardless of age and background and is rooted in the ancient griot tradition where history, present and future become one.
