Winter break

Skansen's winter break are full of activites for all ages and are on-going weekends February 17–March 10 and weekdays February 26–March 1

  • Visit the family in the Ironmonger’s apartment, listen to stories at Back Mats cottage, try sports and games in the Brage Hall, warm yourself in the cozy Sámi tent and grill a Swedish hot dog and much more.

  • Animal walk, in English

    Take a guided tour among the Nordic wild animals. Learn about ecology, species conservation and animal welfare. Feb 26-March 1. Gathering at Bredablick tower at 13.00 (in English)

  • Sports and games

    Daily sport and game themed activities in the Brage Hall.

  • Story telling in Back-Mats cottage

    Listen to captivating stories in the Back Mats cottage, daily at 11.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00.

  • Try out forging

    At the Bollnäs square on February 24-March 3 and March 9-10.
