Midwife on her way

The midwife is called to the young farm labourers wife who is in labour, and next she will continue to the town quarter where the ironmonger´s wife need her help.

The midwife is part of a project illustrating how the midwife became an important part of the modern society emerging in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
