The Norwegian national day, referred to as Nasjonaldagen or syttende mai (seventeenth of May) in Norway, is a public holiday that takes place on the 17th of May every year. The day is celebrated in great style not only in Norway but also in Stockholm where people gather and march through the city center to Skansen. At Skansen the Norweigan national day is celebrated with music, performances and speaches at the Solliden stage and activities for kids and adults. The atmosphere is amazing with all the beautiful national costumes and Norwegian flags.
