A very special day for all ages, adapted for disabled people. Entertaining activities are organized at various locations around Skansen.

    Welcome to Skansen on this special day! Skansen for Everyone offers activities adapted for people of all ages, with or without disabilities.

    Activities at the Bollnäs Square

    • Opening ceremony at 10:30 AM
    • Sing-along with Ayla and the Summer Orchestra at 10:40-11:30 AM
    • Heronstones performs at 11:30 AM
    • Easy workout with Friskis and Svettis at 12:15-12:45 PM
    • Dance with Ayla and the Summer Orchestra at 1:00-2:00 PM
    • Face painting from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

    • Pet an animal (at Moragården) from 12:15-1:30 PM
    • The Spooky Box
    • Paint a postcard
    • The Sock Mystery

    At Orsakullen, you can grill your own hot dogs or buy hot dogs and bread to grill on-site. (This activity will be canceled if there is a fire ban).

    While waiting for transportation at Solliden’s turning area, enjoy music from the Walking Orchestra starting at 1:30 PM!

    Time: 10.00-14.00
    Place: Bollnäs Square, Bollnäs Square stage, Bollnäs House, Orsakullen, Tingsvallen and the turning area at Solliden.
    Entrance: Free entry for members of FUB, Autism- och Aspergerföreningen, RBU, Svenska Downföreningen on presentation of membership card or advertisement and Daglig verksamhet. Guides and assistants have free entry on presentation of a guide/assistant certificate or written certificate.

  • FAQ

    • Shuttle service to Skansen

      Many people will take the shuttle service to Skansen this day. We recommend arriving in good time. The booking address for the transport service is Sollidsbacken 9.

    • Free entrance

      Free entry for members of FUB, Autism- och Aspergerföreningen, RBU, Svenska Downföreningen on presentation of membership card or advertisement and Daglig verksamhet.

    • Adapted primary school and High school

      Admission is free for those attending an adapted primary school and High school. The school must print out and take with you the Skansen certificate that you leave in our entrance.

    • Guides/Assistants

      Guides and assistants have free entry on presentation of a guide/assistant certificate or written certificate.

    • Accessibility Adaptation

      All programs and locations are accessibility adapted.

    • Toilets

      Toilets adapted for wheelchairs are available at the Main entrance, the Hazelius gate, Skansenterrassen, Skogens Hus and at the Children’s Zoo, as well as a portable toilet, the so-called holken, between the Bollnäs Square and Orsakullen. With permobile, the toilets inside Skansenterrassen, in Skogens hus and at the Main entrance are accessible.

    • Cultural historical environments

      Cultural historical environments that are open and accessible are the Engineering workshop, the Co-op Store and the Ironmonger’s apartment.
