Marked at the map are “Paviljong Matsäcken”, an indoor picnic place that also have microwave ovens for heating.
Other bigger picnic areas with tables are on the small Island at the Bollnäs square, a part of the premises of Café Balderslunden by the Children’s zoo and then the largest area, “Torslunden” behind Ekshärad farmstead.
Summertime there are more options since you can use meadows and places with a view to rest and eat at. Please don’t eat your picnic in gardens belonging to our historical buildings.
